Softies are coming from this charming Japanese book.  The instructions are clear and the outfits cute.  Makes a great baby gift.  If you can avoid making them look possessed.  Catherine, I can't wait to see those turtles made!

I have been experimenting with softies.  I think this will eventually become three dimensional.  For now it just hangs on our cloth board.  

Patchwork Curtains

These curtains started as a blanket I was making for my sister's wedding.  Three years later, the blanket morphed into kitchen curtains.  I was originally working off a pattern, so half is borrowed, half is original.  They make much better curtains than blanket.  I ended up giving my sister I huge pan.

Blogging the crafty life

Joining the blogging nation and getting crafty!  I love reading fabulous sewing and crafting blogs and thought I would join in the fabric fiesta.  Can't wait to post pictures of the current projects.
